Pay roughly the cost of two paper passport charts per month, and your whole practice goes digital. No setup fees, no per-chart gotchas, and your data is yours to leave with at any time.
ROI calculator
How much will your practice actually save?
Move the sliders. The numbers are based on a typical equine practice: 15–20 minutes per chart by hand, secretary salary at €40–€70 per hour fully loaded.
200
A solo equine vet typically does 30–80; a 3-vet practice 200–400.
17 min
Industry average is 15–20 minutes including retype + double-check.
Six stacked revenue streams, each with a different sales motion, customer profile and margin curve. They reinforce each other — vets sell PIOs in, PIOs sell vets in, integrations make both stickier.
1. Per-seat SaaS for vets
Monthly / annual subscription priced just below the cost of two paper charts per month. Cheap enough to be a no-brainer add-on; high gross margin once usage is established. Annual commits get a 17% discount and improve cashflow.
2. PIO licence revenue
The six Irish PIOs each pay an annual licence + per-retrieval / per-API-call fee for ingesting EquiSketch records into their passport systems. This is the highest-margin tier — institutional buyers, regulatory necessity, low support load.
3. AI usage upsell
Token-included plans cover normal volume; heavy users pay a small per-chart overage or bring their own LLM key (zero margin to us but stickiness +1). High-volume practices can pre-purchase token credits at a discount.
4. Compliance & training
Sell onboarding workshops (€450), refresher CPD-accredited courses (€180 / vet / year), and an annual 'EquiSketch Audit' report that shows a clinic owner where errors are happening and how to fix them — packaged as a compliance product.
5. Adjacent integrations
Integration marketplace with farm-management (e.g. AgriNet), accounting (Xero / Sage), and pet-insurance APIs. Charge integration partners a referral fee, charge customers nothing — increase stickiness through workflow lock-in.
6. UK / EU expansion
Repeat the Ireland playbook in the UK (Weatherbys GB, BHS, BEF), then Germany (FN), then France (IFCE). Each market has 4–6 PIOs and 1,500–4,000 equine vets. Same product; new chart-type templates and language packs.

Add the UK (5×) and core EU (3×) and the addressable market multiplies to comfortably 9-figure ARR before adjacent verticals (livestock identification, racing-yard compliance, insurance). EquiSketch monetises a regulatory necessity that has zero good software today.
FAQ
Questions vets actually ask
Why does the Solo plan have a chart cap?
AI vision tokens cost money. The cap covers the realistic monthly volume of a single solo equine vet (~30 charts a month). If you exceed it, you can either upgrade to Clinic or add your own Anthropic / OpenAI / Gemini API key in Settings to remove the cap entirely at zero margin to us.
Can a vet move between practices?
Yes. Your account is tied to you, not to a practice. If you move clinics, you just upload a new stamp — your chart history follows you, but is only visible to you and the relevant PIO.
Are PIOs charged?
PIOs are on bespoke contracts. Typically we negotiate an annual licence per PIO with seat-based pricing for their staff, plus optional API/webhook integration into their passport database. Vets and clinics are not charged for PIO retrievals — PIOs pay for their own access.
What if my key budget runs out mid-chart?
Your chart and the drawing are always saved as a draft. You can either top up, switch to your own API key, or hand-type the descriptions and accept the chart. You never lose work.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days on the Solo or Clinic plan, no credit card required. Or just hit "Try the demo" on the landing page to explore the app with sample data.
Where is data stored?
Currently EU (Ireland). Enterprise customers can request specific regional hosting as part of their contract.
